Mark Leathers : Maine Outdoor Properties Team at Realty of Maine
As native Mainer, Mark has devoted his life to the outdoors both professionally and personally. Mark's passion for the outdoors began as a Professional Ski Patroller and Master Maine Guide. Mark took his love of the outdoors to a higher level earning a Master's degree in Forestry. As a licensed forester Mark has worked for over two decades in operations, land acquisition, and land conservation throughout the United States and Canada. His work in timberland acquisition, appraisal, and conservation from a forester's perspective is unique. Mark is also a licensed pilot frequently landing at grass airstrips throughout the state in pursuit of Maine's vast beauty and many recreational opportunities. In his leisure time Mark is an avid alpine and back-country skier, mountain biker, fly fisherman, kayaker, and enjoys taking his family and friends whitewater rafting. Mark's "special place" is a log cabin off the grid in the mountains of western Maine which has been in his family for five generations. Mark would love to share his knowledge of the outdoors to help you find your "special piece of Maine" or utilize his impressive network of buyers if you are ready to sell your property.
