His father introduced him to small game hunting at an early age which allowed him to explore a wide variety of properties in the Piedmont and Coastal areas of Virginia. After attending high school in Richmond, he was off to Hampden-Sydney College where he played lacrosse while maintaining an active outdoor life near Farmville, VA. Jacob’s family eventually purchased their family farm in Buckingham, Virginia where he has managed deer, ducks, doves, turkeys, rabbits, and quail ever since. Jacob’s real estate career began in the Richmond Virginia market. He learned the ropes from experienced residential agents and worked his way to a manager role after being the top producer for three years.
