I have been an outdoor enthusiast since a young age. I was born on a small farm in Iowa and raised in rural Illinois where I learned to hunt and fish under the leadership of my father. My pursuit and interests now are focused on my two young boys, teaching them how to be good stewards of the land and how to respect the ways of nature. I attended school at Western Illinois University where I graduated with a Bachelors in Agricultural Business and a Masters (MBA) in Finance.
