Garrett graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Agribusiness in 2008. He got a job as a Procurement Forester in the Middle Georgia region and quickly realized forestry was his calling. In 2014 he returned to Athens and obtained a Masters degree from UGA's Warnell School of Forestry. His education and experience in agriculture and forestry has equipped him to be a valuable asset to the Southern Land Exchange team.
