Take I-25 South to Exit 71 (Graneros / Colorado City area).

After exiting, head west toward Thacker Road.

Turn left (south) onto Thacker Road.

Continue approximately 1 mile.

You will cross Kenny Pounds Road, after which Thacker Road becomes a one-lane dirt road.
