Seligman is only 40 minutes away and was once a sleepy railroad town, and is now the famous start of the iconic Route 66 drive. The town was even the inspiration for the storyline and topography of the little town in Pixar's animated feature Cars. The town is filled with nostalgic treasures like classic cars and retro neon signs. It's a history buffs dream come true. Step back in time and enjoy the simple life before headed back to the chaos of the city.
You will also only be an hour from the amazing Grand Canyon, and an hour from Kaibab and Coconino National Forests.

Notes from our Photographer:
This property is an easy drive back into Seligman and is pretty much ready to build an off-grid home without any issues with clearing land or grading. The nearby neighbors had single-family homes, and it was noteworthy that they were all raised on stilts several feet high. I did not see any indication of trash service, but solar panels, windmills, and water cisterns were visible. The neighbors in the area were living in prefabricated buildings (e.g., converted sheds with solar panels) or trailers/RVs. Further out, there were some single-family houses. The homes in the area were noted to make use of both solar and windmills for power, and some had water cisterns.
The land was very flat and was mostly covered with straw-colored grass, with a few cacti and trees. All four corners were easy to walk to. I noticed there were some metal stakes marking a couple of the corners next to the road, which are in the pictures. Cell phone signal was 1-3 bars (Verizon).
