Built in approximately 1960 and possibly remodeled in 1980 the 2,040±SF split-level house has a concrete block and wood panel exterior, a corrugated metal roof, and a partially finished basement studio. The main floor includes two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a basic kitchen, living room, dining room, and sits on a crawl space. The additional two bedrooms are upstairs, above the basement, with partial full height and part angled ceilings. The unfinished attic space looks to include a propane gas furnace and ductwork, but according to the Cherokee County appraisal there is no air conditioning system. However, a site visit revealed an air conditioning unit on the back side of the house. The Cherokee County appraisal also shows a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, estimated 820±SF manufactured single-wide mobile home located on the parcel that was built in approximately 1980. There was no mobile home found on the parcel, but there was a 2 horse stall barn structure located on the back of the parcel. It appears that the basement area was last used as a roadside ceramic shop and studio. There also appears to be an easement for a driveway along the west edge of the parcel that leads to the parcel behind the subject property.

The house and parcel have public electricity, propane gas, private well and septic, which is typical for the area.

There are no zoning ordinances for property outside of the city limits of Murphy, but the area is predominantly single family residential.
